Mary Gilson Self Care Center
We maintain a supply of common over-the-counter medications such as acetaminophen (Tylenol), antacids, and ibuprofen (Advil) that are available to anyone on campus that finds themselves in need. In addition, we stock a wide assortment of educational brochures, self-care information, band aids, and condoms. The Self-Care Center accessible whenever Lee Hall is open.
The Mary Gilson Self-Care Center is located on the first floor of Lee Hall in the main hallway. It was established through a generous donation from the parents of Mary Gilson, a UMW student who died from the blood disorder Von Willebrand’s disease.
