Testing and Treatment
The Health Center offers urine Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing. This test is free of charge one time per academic year. Additional testing in the academic year will be charged a nominal fee of $10. Please call (540) 654-1040 to schedule an appointment. This test requires that you do not urinate for at least one hour. A urine specimen will be collected in the office at the scheduled appointment time.
The Student Health Center offers free and confidential onsite at the health center HIV testing in conjunction with Fredericksburg Area HIV/AIDS Support Services (FAHASS) and Mary Washington Healthcare Wellness Clinic

Monthly Testing with Fredericksburg Area Health and Support Services (FAHASS):
The UMW Student Health Center in partnership with (FAHASS) www.fahass.org, offers Sexually Transmitted Infection Testing (HIV, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea) at the Student Health Center on the first and third Thursday every month (with some exceptions) from 10 AM-2 PM.

The Virginia Department of Health conducts an STI Clinic and an Anonymous HIV Testing Clinic (Testing and Treatment are FREE, confidential, and anonymous) on Monday and Thursday from 12:30-2PM. The clinic is within walking distance of UMW. You can call (540) 899-4142 for more information.
