Medical Clinic

If you have a medical concern, you may be seen by a nurse, a nurse practitioner or a physician in our general medical clinic. We typically see students for problems ranging from urinary tract infections, colds, flu, diarrhea and headaches to more serious problems like pneumonia.

We have basic lab services for urine, strep, mononucleosis, flu and pregnancy testing in-house. We do not draw blood or take x-rays at the SHC but these services are available ten minutes away near Mary Washington Hospital.

You will need to make an appointment to see the nurse practitioner or the physician but you may be seen on a walk-in basis by the nurse any time we are open. Our last appointment is a t 4:30pm.
