TALLEY CENTER COVID-19 RESPONSE:
The Talley Center for Counseling Services appointments are being provided via phone and Zoom. To get connected with services, please contact our office at (540) 654-1053.
In accordance with CDC recommendations for social distancing, appointments with the Talley Center will be conducted virtually through Zoom or by phone. To support us in promoting the health and public safety of the UMW community, we ask that individuals who seek services or any other assistance to contact our office at (540) 654-1053 rather than come in-person. In the instance that in-person assistance is necessary, the wearing of face masks will be required, without exception. Please note that any individuals experiencing any symptoms of illness will not be permitted entrance for in-person assistance under any circumstances.
We recognize that this is an anxiety-provoking time and we encourage students and members of the UMW community to reach out to friends, family, or colleagues during this time. It is encouraged to do so by phone or online to promote social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Appointments are easy to schedule, either by calling The Talley Center for Counseling Services at (540) 654-1053, or by visiting either location: Lee Hall Room 106 or Tyler House. Counseling services are provided by appointment and we do not provide “walk-in” hours, although we do have crisis appointments available to students daily.
Students are asked to come to the counseling center at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their first session to complete our computer-based registration forms.
