Towel Service

Towels can be purchased one day at a time for $1 per day, or patrons can purchase a towel service which is more affordable over time. Having the towel service allows patrons to check out a towel each visit to be used for exercising or showering. There are large and small towel sizes available. The towel is exchanged for your EagleONE ID and must be returned upon completion of use on that same day, at which point you will re-obtain your ID.

Towel service can be purchased in person at the Fitness Center or online at campusrec.umw.edu.

Locker Rooms

There are three public locker rooms in Goolrick Hall, connected to the UMW Fitness Center: Men’s and Women’s on the main floor, and a Universal locker room on the bottom floor. The Universal locker room can be accessed using the elevator near the Auxilary gym and Men’s locker room, or by using the nearby stairwell.

Locker Rentals

The Goolrick locker rooms have three size lockers for patrons to use: Full (Large), Half (Medium), and Fifth (small) size. The Half and fifth size lockers are available for all to use for free, just bring your own lock or rent one at the Fitness Center front desk for $10. Full size lockers are available for rent for the following time periods and prices:

• Semester – $30
• 12 Months – $45
• Summer – $15

Locker rentals can be purchased in person at the Fitness Center during open hours, preferably between 9am-5pm, using cash, credit, or EagleONE. A lock is assigned to you and lock combination is provided at time of purchase.

Locker Clean-Outs

The university housekeeping company performs locker clean-outs each summer. Items found in unsecured lockers are removed at the end of each spring semester. For this reason, we ask all users to remove belongings from lockers before May 5 each year.
