The University Tennis Center at the University of Mary Washington is an athletic facility that benefits the entire university and Fredericksburg communities.
The UMW Men’s and Women’s tennis teams practice and compete throughout the year at this outstanding complex of 18 courts. At the UTC, UMW is able to play to host numerous collegiate events, as it provides essential indoor backup to the 12 outdoor courts. UMW students can benefit from the UTC in numerous ways through PE classes, Club Tennis and open play activities.
Reservations for playing tennis at the UTC are free to current faculty, staff, and students, with valid UMW ID. In addition, the tennis courts are open to the Fredericksburg community at very reasonable rates.
Along with general court time our staff provides tennis lessons and clinics, taught by professionals, to adults and juniors at various times throughout the academic year.
