Aside from planning the Big Spring Concert, Productions does a variety of music-related events in the Underground. Here’s an idea on what we’ve done in the past:
Small Concerts
We plan small concerts on Saturday’s featuring local bands from the DMV area! Have a band you want? Email us! We are always looking for suggestions
Karaoke
Karaoke is held in the Underground at least once a month at 8:00 PM! The theme changes every month and can vary form Show-tunes, Disney, 90s, etc. Make sure you follow us so you can stay up to date with then Karaoke is!
Name That Tune!/Music Trivia
Come play Name That Tune with us! We accept teams of no more than 5 players and it starts at 8:00 PM. You can win some fun prizes such as concert tickets to UMW memorabilia. These are rare events so make sure you follow us to know when we do it!
Open Mic Night
The first Wednesday of every month we hold an Open Mic Night in the Underground at 8 PM!
Student Spotlight
If you’re more of a professional performer and would like to expand your audience past Open Mic Nights then this is the event for you!
We will do all the work of booking the space, promoting the event, and giving you a free venue to showcase your talents & sell any merchandise you have.
If you are in a band/duo/or a solo artist you can apply via this form.
Student Spotlight is hosted the last Wednesday of every month in the Underground (time TBD).
