COVID-19 Prevalence Testing
All students who have not been approved to opt-out of testing will be randomly selected for COVID-19 prevalence testing. An essential part of the campus COVID-19 plan, this will assist us monitor virus incidents on campus as well as allow us to support the community through contact tracing, isolation and quarantine measures. This testing is required for all on– and off-campus students with in-person classes, including those who have previously had the virus and those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
If you missed your appointment or didn’t sign up for a required appointment:
- You will be contacted via email to sign up for a testing time the following week. For example, if you were supposed to sign up for Monday testing, you will be required to sign up for a test the following Monday.
If you miss your second appointment or didn’t sign up for the make-up appointment:
- Your network access will be suspended and you will still need to get tested.
Further consequences can include disciplinary action and a campus-access ban.
