The facebook is an online
service that allows you to connect to friends at different schools across the
country. The facebook is
designed for college students only because you need a valid college
email to create a profile. With the facebook you can find friends at other schools and at your
own school. You can create groups of
similar interest, message friends, or just place a name with a face.
To get started, look around
the facebook web page, see if your school is a part of it, and create a
profile:
The facebook has some
interesting features, here are a few that I like:
¨ Find friends in classes- list your courses and see who
also takes that course,
¨ Birthday reminders- it will remind you of when friends
have birthdays coming.
¨ The wall- See what messages people have left for you
and your friends.
