Mini-Courses

Mini-Courses are a new opportunity offered through the Office of Student Activities and Engagement. They’re a one-time experience allowing you to learn about something you may not be able to learn in the classroom. Check back in Fall 2017 to see what mini-courses are being offered during the 2017-2018 academic year.


Here’s the schedule from the 2016-2017 academic year to give you an idea of what might be offered this year:

Henna Tattoo– How to

  • Date and time: Monday, March 27, 5-6:30pm
  • Location: Colonnade Room in the University Center
  • Cost: Free, attendance limited to 30 people

Cooking Class at Orofino’s

  • Date and time: Wednesday, April 12 at 3:00pm
  • Location: Off campus at Orofino’s Restaurant
  • Cost: $5 per person, purchase tickets in the SAE Office 8am-4pm

Beer Tasting and Tour at Adventure Brewing

  • Friday, April 14, time TBD
  • Off campus at Adventure Brewing
  • Cost: TBD, RSVP Required
  • Additional notes: transportation provided, must by 21 years of age or older to participate

Wine & Food Pairing

  • Date and time: Sunday, April 23 at 3pm
  • Location: The Underground
  • Cost: $15 per person, purchase tickets in the SAE Office 8am-4pm
  • Additional notes: must be 21 years of age or older to participate
