There are 17 residence halls on the campus of UMW, including the Eagle Landing suites and UMW Apartments. A residential community may contain one or several buildings and has a dedicated staff including an Assistant Director or Graduate Assistant, a Senior Resident Assistant, and Resident Assistants.
We offer residence halls with either suite style or hall bathrooms, traditional apartments with one, two or three bedrooms, as well as Eagle Landing which is an innovative community complete with luxury apartment suites.
With the variety of residential living available between freshman, mixed-year and upperclass housing as well as Eagle Landing and the UMW Apartments, we welcome you to choose what you would like to make your home for the next nine months.
All residence halls are equipped with laundry rooms, vending machines, kitchens, TV rooms, lounges, study lounges, and recreational space.
Window sizes vary from building to building and room to room. Window shades are provided by the University.
Smoking is not permitted in any of the residence halls.
