Housing and Operations

There are 14 residence halls on the campus of UMW, divided into 3 different residential communities. A residential community may contain one or several buildings and has a dedicated staff including an Assistant Director or Graduate Assistant, a Senior Resident Assistant, and Resident Assistants or Community Assistants.

We offer residence halls with either suite style or hall bathrooms, traditional apartments with one, two or three bedrooms, as well as Eagle Landing which is an innovative community complete with luxury apartment suites.

With the variety of residential living available between freshman, mixed-year and upperclass housing as well as Eagle Landing and the UMW Apartments, we welcome you to choose what you would like to make your home for the next nine months.
