Promoting Maturity in the Classroom

Here are some general suggestions:

• Discuss and uphold the Honor Code.
• Establish and maintain clear academic standards for your students.
• Similarly, establish and maintain standards for classroom conduct and etiquette.
• Model high standards in your teaching and interactions with students. The website
  www.academicintegrity.org is an excellent resource.
• If you suspect academic dishonesty or want to know more about the Honor Code, contact the Honor Council at 654-1144.
• If you are experiencing behavioral issues in the classroom (disruption, harassment, etc.), contact the Office of Judicial Affairs and Community Responsibility at 654-1660.
