UMW Eagle One Card ID required for entry into the Fitness Center.

  • Fitness Center Summer Session Hours  - Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • The Fitness Center will be closed for summer maintenance July 26 through August 18, 2013. 
  • Goolrick Hall Summer Hours now in effect – Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Announcing new policies and hours for the UMW Athletics Strength and Conditioning Room, formerly known as the Goolrick Weight Room.  New hours and policies became   effective November 12, 2012.  Please click here for more information and times of availability.

  • Regulation Prohibiting Weapons: Possession or carrying of any weapon by any person, except a police officer, is prohibited on university property in academic buildings, administrative office buildings, student residence buildings, dining facilities, or athletic facilities or while attending sporting, entertainment or educational events.  Entry upon the aforementioned university property in violation of this prohibition is expressly forbidden.  In addition to individuals authorized by university policy, University of Mary Washington police officers are lawfully in charge for the purposes of forbidding entry upon  or remaining upon university property while possessing or carrying weapons in violation of this prohibition.

  • Our Fitness Center guests are reminded to practice due diligence when storing personal items in any unsecured area.  The Fitness Center is not responsible for personal items stored in unsecured areas.  Guests are encouraged to secure their belongings in the day lockers that are available for use free of charge.  Locks are not provided by the Fitness Center so guests can bring their own locks to the facility to secure their things daily, weekly, monthly or for the semester as long as all lockers are cleaned out and locks removed at the end of the semester.
  • Reminder: There is a “no street shoe” rule in effect for the Goolrick Hall Dance Studios. If you are taking part in a class that requires you to wear shoes please make sure that you do not wear the same shoes in class that you wear getting to class. Shoes should be clean of dirt and debris and should have non-marking soles.
