Managed by UMW Athletics, Goolrick Hall offers a main gymnasium, auxiliary gymnasium, pool, and dance studios. These spaces are available for recreational use when not being used for physical education classes, intercollegiate and sport club practices and competitions, exercise classes, intramural games, or other scheduled events. Goolrick Hall Pool
This is a six lane swimming pool that is open to students, faculty and staff for open rec swim during the hours listed below. To use the pool, please enter the Fitness Center and hand your EagleONE ID to the front desk staff member. Goolrick Hall Dance Studios
The dance studios in Goolrick Hall are managed by the UMW Theater and Dance department. If you would like to make a reservation in these studios, please contact Gregg Stull at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you’re attending a group fitness class in either of the dance studios, please do not wear the same shoes in the studio as you wore outside. All shoes must be clean of dirt and debris. We thank you for following the “No Street Shoe” rule!
Goolrick Hall is located on the Route 1 side of campus along with the Anderson Center and the Fitness Center. To do recreational activities in Goolrick Hall, you must give your EagleONE ID to the Fitness Center front desk staff. If you are passing through the Fitness Center to get to Goolrick, please have your EagleONE ID out and kindly show it to the front desk staff member.
