Fitness Center

The Fitness Center is a 19,000 square foot facility managed by the Department of Campus Recreation. This space, which opened in 2004, has two levels: the first floor is home to a large selection of strength equipment, and the second floor houses a wide variety of cardio machines. There is an Olympic weightlifting floor, a cycle studio, several stations for bench pressing and squatting, ample space for stretching and core exercises, and new selectorized strength machines. Additional features include a bank of six suspended televisions, offering cable television via a Cardio Theater wireless entertainment system for those on the cardio machines. Effective January 17th – May 4

Monday – Thursday:  7am – 10:30pm
Friday: 7am – 8pm
Saturday: 11am – 8pm
Sunday: 11am – 8pm <– Different than the Fall.

Fitness Center adjusted hours:

March 3 – Close early at 5pm
March 4-11 – CLOSED for Spring Break
March 12 – Open late at 5pm


The Fitness Center is located along the Route 1 side of campus attached to the Anderson Center and Goolrick Hall. The entrance to the building is located along Campus Walk, which is a pathway that runs underneath the Hurley Convergence Center and past Arrington and Alvey Residence Halls. An EagleONE ID card is required to access the Fitness Center. No exceptions.
