Our floor plan allows for wheelchair access and there is an elevator in the Fitness Center for accessibility.

We have a variety of selectorized machines to help you target specific muscle groups. Ask a staff member about a machine if you’re unsure!

Cable Machine
Cable Machine

Work your entire body with our multi-purpose cable machine. Rent attachments and add-on weights at the front desk with your EagleONE ID!

Strength Rig
Strength Rig

Squat, bench press, TRX, and pull up on our multi-purpose strength rig.

Olympic Lifting Allowed
Olympic Lifting Allowed

Bumper plates and proper flooring are available in our Olympic lifting area.

Free Weight Area
Free Weight Area

Our dumbbells range from 1 lb to 120 lbs. Use one of our many benches to get in a great free weight workout!

Rent Lifting Equipment
Rent Lifting Equipment

Lifting belts are located on the strength floor. You can rent ankle attachments, chain belts, add-on weights for the cable machines, and resistance loops at the front desk using your EagleONE ID.

Cycle Studio
Cycle Studio

Join us for cycle classes in our cycle studio. You must have a group fitness pass – only $10 for the whole year! There are 9 bikes, so arrive early!

These indoor rowers are on the strength floor. All other cardio equipment is upstairs!

The upstairs cardio floor features TVs for your entertainment and over 40 machines.

The Woodway Curve is a unique treadmill at the Fitness Center that doesn’t require any electricity and allows you to control your speed with just your feet!

The Fitness Center is a 19,000 square foot facility managed by the Department of Campus Recreation that opened in 2004 for all UMW students to use as a mode of stress relieving, socializing, and energy releasing.
