Campus Recreation Student Employment Application

Students eligible for employment must meet the following requirements: full-time matriculating student, availability to work up to 10 hours per week, understand and comply with all rules and regulations of the Department of Campus Recreation.
Employment responsibilities and requirements
Student employees are expected to: attend all training sessions, hold current certification in first aid and CPR/AED, render first aid as needed, monitor facility use, maintain clean and organized equipment/facilities, assist guests and program participants as needed, encourage guest compliance to all rules and regulations, comply with all scheduled work hours, be aware of security, and follow the directions of all Department of Campus Recreation Professional Staff and Graduate Assistants.
Fitness Center student employees are compensated at an hourly starting rate of $7.25. Student supervisors are eligible for a higher rate of compensation based on previous experience working in the Department of Campus Recreation.
Intramural Sports officials are compensated at an hourly rate of $7.50. Supervisors are eligible for a higher rate of compensation based on previous experience working in the Department of Campus Recreation.
Outdoor Recreation Trip Leaders are paid on a stipend basis for their work on an outdoor adventure. Please check out the job description document to see the pay rate.
