To promote "Jewish Life" on Mary Washington's campus through both cultural and religious activities. Further, we aim to add to the overall diversity of Mary Washington's student body by promoting tolerance, communication, and education.
Fridays @ 5:00pm, Ball Hall Parlor
Here at UMW, we know that going to a synagogue is not always an option on a busy Friday night. So, the group meets every Friday at 5 o’clock in Ball Hall's parlor to discuss business, then light candles and eat some challah. It is a relaxed time and a good place to get to know the other members of Hillel and JSA. It is also our longest running tradition.
